Bernadette Soehner - Founder/CEO

Bestselling Author Bernadette Marie writes contemporary romances and believes in Happily Ever After. The married mother of five believes in love at first sight, quick love, and second chances. An avid martial artist, Bernadette Marie is a certified instructor and holds a second degree black belt in Tang Soo Do. She loves Tai Chi, traveling to Disney parks, and having lunch with friends. When not writing, or running her own publishing house, Bernadette is probably immersed in a Rom Com, from which she will often quote one-liners.

The Story behind 5 Prince Publishing
5 Prince Publishing was started in 2011 by Bernadette Soehner, an author who had sadly fallen victim to a bad publishing deal. She knew there had to be a better way to publish the books she had worked so hard on. In 2011, she opened 5 Prince Publishing and began publishing her own books. Soon other authors, who didn't want to chase down the big publishing houses and get lost in their slush piles, began to contact her and submit their work to her.
Bernadette believed that a small publishing company, focusing on eBook distribution and POD, could thrive and give authors what they wanted—a say in how their book was published. 5 Prince Publishing prides themselves on being traditional and not vanity. They respect the author and welcome their opinions. Publishing the book is a team effort, and the team at 5 Prince Publishing understands how hard each author works on their books.
Years later, Bernadette has become an international bestselling author and so have many of the authors who have joined her company. 5 Prince Publishing is considered a medium sized publisher by the number of books they put out a year. As the industry shifts focus on how things are done, Bernadette and her team strive to keep up on the latest methods to publish and to promote their authors.
