I grew up loving to escape to the fantasy world in books. While other kids were out and about, I loved hanging out at the library. Nothing made me feel as happy as walking out with a stack of books in my hands. At the age of twelve, I began writing after I had a series of extremely vivid dreams that begged to be made onto a story.
In high school and college, I focused on science and graduated with a degree in environmental biology with a heavy side of biochemistry. After college I began writing again, but quickly realized I had failed to take a single writing or grammar class. Luckily, I'm a quick learner. I love writing stories with interesting characters, from paranormal to suspense, but they all have romance and I’m a sucker for a happily ever after. |
It’s not a conspiracy theory if they’re really out to kill you
Harper is a brilliant hacker who is trying to walk the straight and narrow as a computer science major and artist. She never saw herself as an environmental activist or conspiracy theory nut. But when her brother who is serving overseas in Delta Force disappears, the last email from him pulls her into a world of secrets, mercenaries, and guns. Guns aimed at her. No one wants to listen to the ravings of a college student, much less one with a mental health history of severe anxiety. Caleb, her older brother's best friend and fellow Delta Force operator, home recovering from spinal surgery, is her only ally. Together they work to unravel the truth behind a government conspiracy and a chemical company willing to poison the world for profit. She must put aside the growing passion between her and Caleb to stop the evil plot before the mercenaries sent to kill them complete their mission.
